What is Mondou’s CABEA?
Published October 11, 2021.
Mondou is a Quebec company with an undisputed reputation, in terms of its customer service and the quality and diversity of its products. Mondou’s loyal customer base not only shops there with confidence, but also finds invaluable advice. Given the sharp increase in pets and the growing involvement of owners who want only the best for their animals, it has become necessary to validate and expand the information that the company provides. Mondou’s desire to promote animal welfare within the company and the community as a whole has resulted in the creation of a committee of experts with complementary skills. This animal welfare advisory committee is known as CABEA (comité aviseur bien-être animal).
The committee is made up of the following five members:

The committee’s mission is to provide animal welfare expertise and position Mondou as a leader in the pet industry. Although still in its early stages, the committee is already tackling a number of issues. You may have seen committee members attend various Facebook Live events at the beginning of the pandemic or promote their favourite products. They were also involved in issues surrounding the use of aversive dog training tools, and several other animal welfare initiatives.
In the coming months, committee members will be increasingly involved in guiding and expanding the selection of products available online and in store. They will be on hand to share their expertise with Mondou, and offer advice and recommendations on matters surrounding animal welfare. Seeing them more regularly will help you feel even more confident about the advice and products available at Mondou.
